Sara’s Philosophy on Health & Natural Medicines
The more I have studied and experienced natural medicine the more convinced I have become in the body's extraordinary innate healing capabilities. The key is to unlock the blockages that keep us from enjoying optimal health. I am constantly amazed by the power of herbs to nudge the body back into equilibrium and health.

Sara is a fully insured member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), the oldest and largest professional organization for medical herbalists in the UK. She is also a member of the American Herbalists Guild and United Plant Savers.

WESTERN HERBAL MEDICINE
Western Herbal Medicine uses natural whole plant-based remedies to prevent disease, treat a wide range of conditions and restore health and vitality. It draws on a rich ancient traditional knowledge of herbs combined with the sensibility of current scientific research. One of the key strengths of herbal medicine is its ability to centre treatments on you as an individual rather than on a disease or condition. The focus of treatment is on the underlying causes of disease rather than the symptoms alone. For this reason it is common for two patients with the same condition to leave with two different herbal prescriptions or remedies.

It's far more important to know what person the disease has than what disease the person has.
