Holistic Massage

The holistic approach treats the person’s emotional and spiritual well-being as well as physical.

Holistic Massage utilises a wide range of massage techniques tailored to a person’s individual needs. Techniques include Swedish massage, deeper tissue massage and acupressure combined with energy holding techniques and breath work.

The positive effects of massage include:

  • Eases tension and relaxes tight muscles

  • Reduces stress

  • Increases energy levels and feelings of vitality

  • Speeds up the elimination of toxins

  • Improves blood and lymph circulation

  • Boosts the immune system

  • Aids digestion

Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle and deeply relaxing ancient practice that works on the feet and hands, enabling the body to heal itself.

Following illness, stress, injury or disease, the body is in a state of "imbalance", and vital energy pathways are blocked. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium and encourage healing.

Tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet can be detected, and by working on these points the reflexologist can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and release of toxins is improved.

  • Reflexology is beneficial for:

  • Stress-related conditions

  • Migraine

  • Fertility

  • Sleep disorders

  • Hormonal Imbalances

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic, essential oils to improve physical and emotional well-being.

All essential oils have unique healing and valuable antiseptic properties which can be used to improve health and prevent disease. Oils can be anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, anti-depressant, stimulating, relaxing, support digestion and have diuretic properties too.

As well as inhalation of essential oils, Aromatherapy works by absorbing essential oils into the skin and blood stream. An aromatherapy massage is a great way to reap the benefits of the application of essential oils along with the soothing therapeutic benefits of massage.
